As we look at this plague, how is it supposed to be different from all the others?

Well, in spite of 9 devastating plagues, Pharaoh had repeatedly refused to let the Israelite slaves leave to hold a worship festival in the desert. Finally, Moses warned Pharaoh that all the firstborn sons in Egypt, except for the Israelites, would die. Yet, he still would not listen and let the Israelites go.
What do you find interesting about this Passover observance?
